I'll introduce my favorite movie "Ruokala Lokki". Japanese title is "Kamome Shokudo". Naoko Ogigami is the movie director. She is from Chiba. She visited the United States in 1994. She studied about movie making there. She came back to Japan in 2000. She is one of the popular directors in Japan. "Megane (glasses)", "Suika"(watermelon) which she directed are popular too. Sachie (Satomi Kobayashi), Midori (Hairi Katagiri) and Masako (Masako Motai) played the leading role. A fomous Finn actor Markku Peltola also appeared in the movie. Satomi Kobayashi was born in Tokyo. She came out "3nen Bgumi Kinpachisensei" when she was second grade of junior high school. She got married with a famous director and screenwriter, Kohki Mitani in 1995. Satomi Kobayashi appeared "Akahananosensei" recently. Hairi Katagiri is from Tokyo. She worked in a theater when she was a university student and she joined a theatrical. She appears TV drama "Tokidokimayomayo" now, and she appeared many movies. Masako Motai debuted in 1972. She organized theatrical named "sanjyu gekidan" with Eri Watanabe and some people in 1979. She received the highest award for supporting actor of Japanese Academy prize with "Soredemobokuhayattenai". “Kamome Shokudou” is a Japanese movie, and it was filmed in Finland. Finland is famous for Santa Claus, Moomin. Do you know about Finland another? Finland is one of EU affiliated country. It is north of Europe and it has four seasons as Japan. Finland is smaller than Japan. It has rich nature and it has about 188000 lakes. It has a population of about fifty-two thousand. They speak Finnish and Swedish. 85 % of Finn faith the Lutheran of Christianity. Finland has many barrier-free facilities.Next, I'll tell you the story of the movie. The story is about rice balls, some Japanese and Finn.One summer's day, Sachie opened a small restaurant in Helsinki named ruokala lokki. The restaurant main menus were rice balls. People didn't come to her restaurant in the beginning, but Tonmi who affects a Japanese manner visited there. He likes "Gatchaman" which is a Japanese comic and he asked Sachie to sing the song. But she couldn't. She found Midori who was reading a book in book store. She could sing its song. That was a start Midori worked with Sachie's restaurant. Tonmie came to their restaurant everyday as a guest. A few days ago, Masako came to the restaurant. She lost her luggage in the airport. She visited there every day until her luggage was found. Sachie, Midori and Masako were people with individuality. The movie reveals their personalities very clearly. Sachie made many dishes in the movie. They were all appetizing! Specially, rice balls which she made looked delicious!! Masako wore nice colorful clothes in the movie and they pleased us too. An old Finn woman who gave the restaurant a long look was so funny (:D) After that, she came there every day too. Do you want to watch "Kamome Shokudou"?
